Chairman's Annual Governance Statement
The Trustee Board runs the Plan on behalf of its members, and ensures the Plan is well run in accordance with the Trust Deed and Rules and that members' interests are protected.
One of the Trustee’s key responsibilities is to monitor the investments available to members of the AkzoNobel Benefit Builder.
Below is the Chairman’s Annual Governance Statement for the Plan, which details the Plan's governance to 31 March 2020.
The Statement is where you can find the following:
- Details of the investments available to you
- The charges associated with them
- Information on the administration of the Plan
- Details of how the Trustee monitors the Plan on an ongoing basis
- Details of how the Trustee ensures it has the appropriate knowledge and understanding to run the Plan on an ongoing basis
The Trustee is required to provide this information to you on an annual basis, to ensure that you’re kept up-to-date with the Plan and how it works. Any changes will still be communicated to you separately, but here’s a good place to start if you want to know about the current status of the Plan and its investments.
