Maternity/Paternity/Adoption leave
If you go on maternity, paternity or adoption leave, you will still be covered for all the benefits offered by the Plan. The cost to you (through the adjustment to your gross contractual salary) will be based on the pay you actually receive during your leave.
AkzoNobel's contributions will be calculated as if you were working normally and receiving your normal pay for doing so. AkzoNobel will also "top up" the additional contribution it pays (replacing your normal employee pension contribution) to the amount which would apply if you were working normally and receiving your normal pay.
If you return to work after your leave, normal payments into your retirement account will resume as soon as your normal pay from AkzoNobel begins.
